Sol Imperium EU is a young company seeking to introduce in Romanian market a new and versatile product , a low cost and high quality graphene available in bulk quantities. Graphene has some amazing properties therefore the product is used to facilitate the development of applications in modern materials, energy storage devices,bateries, supercapacitors, coatings and polymers and new uses for this exciting new product are discovered every day.

As a result of high quality manufacturing three product grades are available with average platelet sizes of 20 μm, 10 μm and 5 μm with tightly controlled platelet geometries.

Also the powders are readily dispersed in a range of solvent and polymer media and batch to batch consistency is ensured through leading edge quality control testing.

Graphene is the Future!

Above all Graphene is an allotrope (form) of carbon consisting of a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice and as it is a semimetal with small overlap between the valence and the conduction bands (zero bandgap material), Graphene is the basic structural element of many other allotropes of carbon, such as graphite, diamond, charcoal, carbon nanotubes and fullerenes.

Because Graphene has many uncommon properties, as it is the strongest material ever tested also conducts heat and electricity efficiently and is nearly transparent, in other words it can be used for a large amount of applications. Graphene also shows a large and nonlinear diamagnetism which is greater than that of graphite and can be levitated by neodymium magnets.
